Ethic Goods

Ethic Goods exists to bring gainful employment and to provide empowerment to women who have been rescued from human trafficking and those who are at risk of exploitation. Their artisans work primarily in South East Asia and they are partnered with non-profit organizations that provide therapy, mental health care, healthcare, education, and community outreach programs.

They also work in Ethiopia where their Bullets to Beads collection is manufactured. These pieces are a particular pride in the Ethos Kolekto range because they are made from bullet casings that were picked up from conflict zones. These casings were then melted down and turned into beads that are hand-strung into beautiful new jewelry.

The collective that creates these pieces for Ethic Goods employs women who are HIV+ and have been largely left without other employment and are ostracized from their community.

Purchasing these pieces provides these women with income and healthcare.
