Will the fabric wear off of the Kantha beads?

Over time, it is possible that the fabric on the Kantha beads will start to fray. This is most often seen on the stretchy bracelets, as they tend to receive more direct contact with the skin than earrings or bracelets. However, the wooden beads beneath the fabric have also been handmade and many customers report liking the way that the wood looks with the fabric.
