Mayan Hands is a Guatemala-based non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing women with economic and educational opportunities. This initiative is design to aide women in building sustainable futures for themselves and their families, to strengthen their communities, and to keep traditional forms of art and craft alive.

Mayan Hands was developed in the 1990s to open the consumer market for Mayan textiles, especially made by women, on the back-strap loom. They are a founding member of the Fair Trade Federation. By giving makers an outlet for their finished products, Mayan Hands has been able to provide fair pay for work, to support programs that help women harness their business skills, and to build capacity for women in their communities so that they can be seen as leaders.
