Wide Neutral Beaded Cuff Bracelets

$29.00

Beaded cuffs are a great way to add a bit of sparkle and texture to an every day look. These cuffs are made from natural, free-range leather that is sourced from pastoralist peoples in Moshi, Tanzania (near the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro), glass beads, and fishing line. They are all completely handmade by artisans in a worker-owned cooperative, where each artisan is a part-owner of the business.

The wide cuffs measure about 1 ½”  wide and about 8 ½”  long, though they adjust to three different lengths. If you wear your bracelet on the smallest setting, it is easy to trim off the extra leather.

  • These cuffs are water-resistant, though completely saturating them is not recommended.

  • Once you’ve clasped your cuff and the fishing lines and beads have formed a circle, the cuff will no longer lie completely flat. The bead strands will bend if you attempt to flatten the cuff, and this is normal. This occurs because the fishing line is not elastic.
